EVENTS THIS YEAR


OUTDOOR PAINTING DAYS
These arrangements are for members only who can come and go as they please between 10am and 4pm. Toilet facilities at all venues. Guests should be prepared to contribute to the host’s charity and observe the site's Covid requirements.


TALKS AND DEMONSTRATIONS
Are held at Frome Cricket Club. Please be seated by 2.15pm for afternoon events and 7.15pm for evening events. Members’ guests are welcome; there is a charge of £3 for non-members.


WORKSHOPS
Workshops are open to members only and held at Trudoxhill Village Hall. Numbers will be restricted to allow for social distancing, so early booking is advised. Book using our online booking forms. Links are published in the members' digital newsletters.

FAS WORKSHOP COVID POLICY

As Covid risks are fluctuating, our Covid Policy will be updated as and when circumstances change. In addition. We will keep our website updated with with any policy changes.

January 2022

Masks should be worn for demos etc, where closer contact is more likely.
Hand sanitiser should be used before handling shared equipment etc.
The hall will be ventilated by opening windows.
All participants are asked to take a lateral flow test before leaving home.
Please do not attend if you are ill or have been in situations where your Covid risk is heightened - a full refund will be given in this situation.


New Members Welcome

Charles and Vera Appleyard and Charles Hopkins founded Frome Art Society in 1979 to encourage local people to become involved in painting and drawing in a friendly atmosphere. We remain a welcoming, supportive and inclusive society, with members of all abilities, both amateur and professional. We hold regular exhibitions and provide a varied and inspiring programme of demonstrations, talks, workshops and outdoor painting opportunities.
